Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi is set to explore another significant chapter of India’s spiritual and cultural history with his upcoming film, RamBola. The project marks his next directorial venture after Hanuman Ansh and is being developed in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films.
The film will centre on Goswami Tulsidas, the renowned poet and spiritual figure whose literary and devotional contributions have played an important role in Indian culture. RamBola will trace his life journey while focusing on the experiences and influences that shaped his devotion and work.
RamBola Cast and Crew
Details about the film’s cast have not yet been revealed. Vishal Chaturvedi will serve as both the writer and director of RamBola. His previous film, Hanuman Ansh, was based on the life of spiritual figure Shri Neem Karoli Baba.
With RamBola, Chaturvedi will once again explore the life of a prominent figure associated with India’s Sant tradition, this time bringing the story of Goswami Tulsidas to the big screen.
The film will be produced by Mahaveer Jain, Vishal Chaturvedi, Amit Upadhyay and Raghuvendra Singh. Mahaveer Jain Films will present the project.
Mahaveer Jain Films’ Upcoming Line-Up
RamBola is among several projects currently being developed by Mahaveer Jain Films. The production house is also backing Naagzilla, directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and featuring Kartik Aaryan.
Another upcoming project from the banner is Sooraj Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari.
The production house is also associated with White, a story inspired by an event involving spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Vikrant Massey is attached to the project.
