A proposed Vande Bharat Sleeper train between Bengaluru and Mumbai is attracting attention from passengers looking for a faster overnight rail journey between the two major cities. According to reports, the train could be inaugurated on November 1, coinciding with Karnataka Rajyotsava, with passenger services expected to begin on November 2.

The planned service is expected to connect Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) in Bengaluru with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai.
