Vivo has expanded its Y-series lineup in China with the launch of the new Vivo Y600i. The smartphone focuses heavily on battery life, featuring a large 8,000mAh battery paired with 44W fast charging.
Along with its long-lasting battery, the Vivo Y600i comes with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and a 50MP rear camera. The phone has been introduced with 5G connectivity and runs on Android 16-based software.
Vivo Y600i Specifications
The Vivo Y600i features a 6.87-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1592 × 720 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by up to 2TB using a memory card. Vivo’s Memory Fusion technology also allows the RAM to be virtually expanded up to 12GB.
For software, the device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo has also included AI-powered anti-fraud protection as part of the phone’s software features.
50MP Camera and 8,000mAh Battery
The Vivo Y600i comes with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8MP front-facing camera.
The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its 8,000mAh battery. It supports 44W wired fast charging as well as wired reverse charging, allowing the phone to be used to provide power to compatible devices.
According to Vivo, a full charge can provide up to 25 hours of short-video playback or as much as 16 hours of continuous navigation.
Other features include a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-SIM 5G support, a USB Type-C port and an IR blaster.
Vivo Y600i Price and Availability
The Vivo Y600i has currently been launched in the Chinese market in a configuration with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is priced at 1,999 yuan, which is approximately ₹28,573 when converted to Indian currency.
Sales in China are scheduled to begin on September 30. The handset is offered in three colour options: Stardust, Sky Blue and Midnight Black.
Vivo has not mentioned an India launch as part of the information provided with the Chinese release.
