Vivo is reportedly preparing to introduce a 5G version of its Y32 smartphone in selected global markets. The upcoming Vivo Y32 5G is expected to share several specifications with the Vivo Y32 4G, which was launched in Bangladesh last month. These may include an 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and a 50-megapixel primary camera.

However, the biggest upgrade could be under the hood. Unlike the 4G model, which runs on the Unisoc T7300 processor, the reported 5G variant is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.

Vivo Y32 5G Expected Display and Performance

According to a report by Vietnamese publication Báo Đà Nẵng, the Vivo Y32 5G could feature a 6.87-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1,592 x 720 pixels. The screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and offer peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. It is also reportedly TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light emission.

For performance, the smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It could come with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Users may also be able to expand the storage by up to 2TB through a microSD card. Additionally, the device is expected to support up to 6GB of virtual RAM and run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Camera Specifications

In terms of photography, the Vivo Y32 5G is reportedly equipped with a dual rear camera setup. This could include a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is expected to feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

8,000mAh Battery and Durability Features

Battery capacity could be one of the major highlights of the Vivo Y32 5G. The handset is reportedly backed by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging.

The battery is also claimed to maintain more than 80 per cent of its original capacity after completing 1,500 charging cycles.

Regarding durability, the smartphone is said to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It reportedly complies with the MIL-STD-810H durability standard and has received SGS five-star drop-resistance certification.

Other expected features include stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

Vivo Y32 5G Variants, Colours and Availability

According to the report, the Vivo Y32 5G could be available in a single configuration featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is expected to arrive in Dawn Gold and Midnight Black colour options.

Vivo has not officially revealed the smartphone’s pricing or launch timeline. The company has also not confirmed whether the Vivo Y32 5G will be introduced in India or other international markets.
