Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, the next smartphone in its Turbo series. A new leak has revealed potential details about the device’s display, suggesting that it could bring notable upgrades over its predecessor. The upcoming handset is expected to feature a larger screen, improved display technology and a refreshed design.

Although Redmi has not officially confirmed the smartphone, the leaked specifications indicate that the company could be focusing on delivering an enhanced large-screen experience.

Redmi Turbo 6 Max Display Specifications (Expected)

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a 7-inch flat display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. The panel is reportedly expected to use Low Injection Pressure Over-moulding (LIPO) packaging technology, which could help reduce the bezels to approximately 1mm on all four sides.

Other expected display features include rounded corners, BT.2020 colour gamut support and a high-brightness, low-power substrate.

For comparison, its predecessor, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, comes with a smaller 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and houses a 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.

Redmi Turbo 6 Max Expected Features and Hardware

In terms of performance, the upcoming Redmi Turbo 6 Max could continue using the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. However, the battery capacity may receive a significant upgrade, with reports suggesting that it could exceed 10,000mAh.

Previous leaks have also pointed towards several additional features, including a metal middle frame, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the display.

The smartphone is also expected to feature a dual rear camera setup. However, details about the camera sensors and charging capabilities have not yet been revealed.

Redmi Turbo 6 Max Launch Timeline and Global Availability

Redmi has not announced an official launch date for the Turbo 6 Max. However, reports suggest that the smartphone could make its debut in China around January.

There is also speculation that the device may be introduced in international markets under the Poco X9 Pro Max name. However, Xiaomi has not confirmed its global availability or revealed whether it will use a different name for markets outside China.
