Apple is widely expected to make its long-awaited entry into the foldable smartphone market this year. While the company has not officially revealed its plans, luxury customisation brand Caviar has already unveiled its own interpretation of what Apple’s first foldable iPhone could look like.
Caviar has introduced a new concept called the iPhone 18 Ultra, a premium customised device that closely resembles the foldable iPhone Apple is rumoured to unveil in September. The company has also shared design renders and a list of alleged specifications, offering an early and unofficial glimpse at what an Apple foldable could potentially bring.
However, it is important to note that Apple has not confirmed any of these details.
Could This Be Apple’s First Foldable iPhone?
The most striking feature of Caviar’s new design is its book-style folding mechanism. If Apple launches a device with a similar form factor, it could mark a major shift for the iPhone lineup and put the company directly into competition with existing foldable smartphones.
Caviar is already accepting deposits from buyers interested in its ultra-luxury version of the device. The company suggests that this customised model could be produced in limited numbers, making it a niche offering aimed at premium collectors.

What Could the iPhone Fold Look Like?
Based on the images released by Caviar, the rumoured iPhone Fold, also referred to by the luxury brand as the iPhone 18 Ultra, may feature a compact book-style design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series.
The rear design shown in the renders includes two camera sensors positioned side by side. Caviar has added its signature luxury treatment, using gold-toned accents and a dark metallic finish around the Apple logo.
The company has presented the device in three different design options. In the renders, the phone also appears noticeably slimmer than many foldable smartphones currently available in the market.
Rumoured iPhone Fold Display and Specifications
Caviar has also shared several claimed hardware details for its version of the foldable iPhone. According to the company, the device could feature a 5.3-inch outer display and a larger 7.3-inch foldable internal screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The inner display is also said to support a 120Hz refresh rate, which could mean Apple may bring its ProMotion display technology to the foldable model.
As for performance, the alleged iPhone Fold could be powered by Apple’s next-generation A20 processor and come with 12GB of RAM.
The reported camera setup includes:
- A dual 48MP rear camera system
- A 24MP front-facing camera
- Enhanced photography features expected from a premium iPhone model
Caviar also claims that the foldable iPhone could pack a large 5,800mAh battery, which would be among the biggest batteries ever used in an iPhone. The challenge for Apple would be fitting such a battery inside an exceptionally slim foldable body.
