The upcoming Vivo Y600i has appeared on the China Telecom website, giving an early look at its design, memory options and key specifications. The smartphone, carrying model number V2617A, is expected to join Vivo’s Y-series lineup in China.
According to the listing, the Vivo Y600i could feature a large 6.87-inch display, Qualcomm’s SM4450 platform and an 8,000mAh battery. The phone is also expected to offer a 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. Vivo has not officially announced the smartphone yet, so some specifications remain unconfirmed.
Vivo Y600i Specifications and Expected Launch
The China Telecom listing shows the Vivo Y600i with 6GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. A separate 6GB + 256GB configuration is also listed as a China Mobile edition.
The smartphone is expected to run Android 16. Its display is listed at 6.87 inches, although the available listing does not reveal the screen resolution or refresh rate. For processing, the device is listed with Qualcomm’s SM4450 platform, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.
The same model number has previously appeared in China’s 3C certification database as a 5G smartphone, with support for up to 44W wired charging. However, the China Telecom listing itself does not mention the charging speed.
8,000mAh Battery and Camera Details
Battery capacity could be one of the major highlights of the Vivo Y600i. The China Telecom listing indicates an 8,000mAh battery, while earlier certification information points towards 44W wired charging support.
For photography, the phone is listed with a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Images included with the listing show a raised rear camera module positioned towards the upper-left corner, with two circular camera elements and an LED flash. The front appears to use a hole-punch design.
The handset is expected to measure 169.55 × 79.20 × 8.69mm and weigh around 229 grams. These details indicate a relatively large device, in line with its large display and battery capacity.
Design, Colours and Expected Positioning
The Vivo Y600i is expected to be offered in three colour options: Polar Night Black, Sky Blue and Starry Sky. The names are based on the available China Telecom listing and translated colour descriptions.
The smartphone could be positioned below the Vivo Y600 Pro and Vivo Y600 Turbo within the company’s Y-series range. It is also expected to succeed the Vivo Y500i, although Vivo has not officially confirmed this positioning.
China Telecom lists September 30, 2026, as the product’s market date. This has led to expectations that the Vivo Y600i could be introduced in China around the end of September. However, Vivo has yet to officially confirm the launch date, price or availability in other markets.
