8th Central Pay Commission Report Timeline
The Government constituted the 8th Central Pay Commission through a notification dated November 3, 2025. The Commission has been given 18 months from the date of its constitution to submit its report, which puts the reporting deadline in May 2027.
The Commission’s terms of reference also allow it to consider submitting interim reports on specific matters if required. After the recommendations are submitted, the government will examine them and take a decision on their implementation.
