Train Cancelled: 24 Trains Suspended From October 5 to 8 Due to Railway Work

Train Cancelled: Railway passengers travelling between Delhi and several destinations may face disruption in the first week of October. Northern Railway is carrying out automatic signalling work between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Palam stations on the Delhi-Rewari route.

The work is aimed at improving the signalling system and making train operations faster and safer. A major six-hour traffic block has been planned for October 7, 2026. Due to the work, 24 trains will remain fully cancelled between October 5 and October 8, while eight other trains will operate on diverted routes.

24 Trains Cancelled

The following trains have been cancelled during the affected period:

  • 14087: Delhi–Jaisalmer Express
  • 12215: Delhi Sarai Rohilla–Bandra Terminus Garib Rath
  • 12216: Bandra Terminus–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Garib Rath
  • 14088: Jaisalmer–Delhi Express
  • 15307: Tilak Bridge–Sirsa
  • 20983: Bhuj–Delhi Sarai Rohilla
  • 12985: Jaipur–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Double Decker
  • 12986: Delhi Sarai Rohilla–Jaipur Double Decker
  • 12065: Ajmer–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Jan Shatabdi
  • 12066: Delhi Sarai Rohilla–Ajmer Jan Shatabdi
  • 22452: Chandigarh–Bandra Terminus Express
  • 15308: Sirsa–Tilak Bridge
  • 26481: Jodhpur–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat
  • 26482: Delhi Cantt–Jodhpur Vande Bharat
  • 20984: Delhi Sarai Rohilla–Bhuj

Some Trains Will Be Short-Terminated or Originate From Different Stations

Apart from the fully cancelled services, some trains will have changes to their originating or terminating stations.

Train 14030 (Muktsar–Delhi Sarai Ganganagar Express) will terminate at New Delhi instead of its scheduled destination. Train 14029 (Ganganagar–Delhi) will terminate at Rewari station.

Meanwhile, train 54411 (Rewari–Delhi) will originate from New Delhi station.

Several Trains to Run Late

Some services will also be controlled or delayed because of the railway work.

Train 15715 (Kishanganj–Ajmer) will be delayed by 2 hours and 40 minutes, while train 12916 (Delhi–Sabarmati) will face a delay of 55 minutes. Train 12323 (Howrah–Barmer) will be delayed by 15 minutes at Delhi.

Railway authorities have advised passengers travelling between October 5 and October 8 to check their train’s latest schedule and live running status before leaving for the station.

Passengers can use the railway helpline 139 or the NTES app to check the latest information and avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
