Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starrer Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has maintained a strong run at the box office since its theatrical release. The crime thriller has crossed the ₹300 crore mark globally within just four days.
According to film trade portal Sacnilk, the movie had collected ₹303 crore worldwide by the end of its first Monday. The strong overseas performance, combined with its domestic earnings, has helped the film reach the milestone at a rapid pace.
Drishyam 3 India Box Office Collection
The film is now close to entering the ₹200 crore mark in India, despite recording a 65.6% decline in its daily earnings on Monday.
Drishyam 3 collected ₹62 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹53.50 crore on Day 2 and ₹61 crore on Day 3. On its fourth day, the film earned ₹21 crore.
As a result, its total India net collection has reached ₹197.50 crore, while its gross domestic collection stands at ₹237 crore. The film has additionally earned ₹66 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide gross to ₹303 crore.
Tuesday Advance Booking Shows Strong Interest
The film could see another boost in its India collection on Tuesday. As of October 6, Drishyam 3 had sold 3.36 lakh tickets worth ₹9.21 crore through advance bookings across 16,486 shows. A total of 22 shows were already completely sold out.
According to Sacnilk, these advance bookings represented an overall occupancy of 10%. Maharashtra led ticket sales with ₹2.46 crore, followed by Delhi at ₹1.77 crore. Gujarat recorded ₹98.79 lakh, Uttar Pradesh ₹63.77 lakh, Madhya Pradesh ₹45.14 lakh and Rajasthan ₹42.01 lakh.
Among Fastest Indian Films to Reach ₹300 Crore
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has also joined the list of the fastest Indian films to cross ₹300 crore worldwide.
The films that reached the milestone even faster or within a similar period include Pushpa 2: The Rule in 1–2 days, RRR in 2 days, Pathaan in 3 days, Kalki 2898 AD in 3 days and Jawan in around 3–4 days.
Drishyam 3 Trails Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Despite becoming Ajay Devgn’s biggest opener so far, Drishyam 3 still has a considerable gap to cover when compared with Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
The film recorded an opening weekend India net collection of ₹176.50 crore, equivalent to ₹211.80 crore gross.
By comparison, Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar: The Revenge opened with around ₹290.94 crore in India. Other major Hindi releases, including Border 2 with ₹121 crore net, Mirzapur The Movie with ₹93 crore net and Awarapan 2 with ₹81.75 crore net, also remain below its opening figure.
