Stocks in Focus: Several stocks are likely to remain on investors’ radar today following corporate announcements, Q2 FY27 business updates, acquisitions, new orders and operational developments. Trent, Godrej Consumer Products, Juniper Hotels, Metropolis Healthcare, Vedanta, Wipro, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hi-Tech Pipes, IDFC First Bank, Solex Energy and Narayana Hrudayalaya are among the companies that could attract market attention.

Indian benchmark indices ended Monday, October 5, on a positive note. Here are the key company-specific developments to watch.

Stocks to Watch Today

Trent: The company reported a 23% year-on-year rise in standalone revenue to ₹5,788 crore during Q2 FY27. During the quarter, Trent also opened its 1,000th Zudio store. As of September 30, the company had 1,342 stores across Zudio, Westside and other lifestyle brands.

Godrej Consumer Products: The company expects another strong performance in Q2 FY27 despite uneven monsoon conditions and elevated commodity costs. It expects consolidated revenue to grow in the high teens, between 15% and 19%, while volume growth is projected at 7% to 9%. EBITDA growth is expected to remain above 10%.

Juniper Hotels: The company has entered into a binding MoU with ImagicaWorld Entertainment to acquire the existing Novotel Imagica Hotel in Khopoli, Maharashtra, for ₹248 crore. The property has 287 rooms and is spread across 11 acres.

Metropolis Healthcare: The diagnostics company recorded approximately 15% year-on-year revenue growth in Q2 FY27. The performance was supported by double-digit growth in patient and test volumes, better realisations and an improved product mix. EBITDA margins also improved on both a yearly and sequential basis, aided by operating leverage and greater efficiency.

Vedanta: The company’s board is scheduled to meet on October 8, 2026, to consider and approve the first interim dividend, if any, for FY27. Vedanta has fixed October 14, 2026, as the record date for determining shareholder eligibility.

Narayana Hrudayalaya: The company began commercial operations at the 110-bed KS-Narayana Hospital in Bengaluru on October 5, 2026. The facility is being operated under the company’s existing operation and management agreement.

Order Wins and Business Updates

Laser Power & Infra: The company has secured an HTLS reconductor order worth ₹72.76 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India. The project covers 164 circuit-km of transmission lines and is expected to be completed within 12 months.

Solex Energy: The company has received an order worth ₹75.96 crore from domestic companies operating in the power sector. The order covers 620 Wp N-type TOPCon glass-to-glass solar PV modules and is scheduled for completion by November 2026.

Banking and Financial Stocks in Focus

Wipro: The IT major’s board will meet on October 14 and 15 to consider and approve the company’s Q2 FY27 financial results. The results are scheduled to be approved on October 15.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: Net advances increased 24.7% year-on-year to ₹5.77 lakh crore during Q2 FY27. Total deposits also registered strong growth of 23.2%.

IDFC First Bank: Loans and advances grew 20.4% year-on-year to ₹3.14 lakh crore in Q2 FY27, while total deposits increased 17% to ₹3.24 lakh crore. The bank reported a CASA ratio of 51.3%, with asset quality remaining strong.

Hi-Tech Pipes: Sales volumes rose 32% year-on-year to 165,016 MT in Q2 FY27. For the first half of FY27, sales volumes increased 29% year-on-year to 321,152 MT.
