The 24th instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is scheduled to be released on October 30. Eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 directly into their bank accounts. The Agriculture Ministry announced the payment date on October 23, giving beneficiaries time to check their details before the money is transferred.
However, the announced date does not mean every registered farmer will automatically receive the payment. Incomplete e-KYC, incorrect personal information, pending land verification or issues with Aadhaar-linked bank accounts can affect the transfer. Farmers should review their records and resolve any outstanding issues before the scheduled release.
PM-Kisan 24th Instalment: What Farmers Need to Check
Farmers should ensure that their e-KYC process is complete and their bank accounts are properly linked with Aadhaar. Their land records must also be verified, and the information recorded under the scheme should be accurate.
These checks help confirm a beneficiary’s identity and eligibility. Addressing discrepancies in advance may reduce the risk of payment delays.
How to Check PM-Kisan Beneficiary Status Online
Farmers can review their registration and payment-related details through the official PM-Kisan portal by following these steps:
- Visit the official website, pmkisan.gov.in.
- Select the Know Your Status option.
- Enter your PM-Kisan registration number.
- Fill in the captcha displayed on the screen.
- Select Get OTP and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- Review the details displayed on the next screen, including your beneficiary status and e-KYC information.
If any requirement is pending or an error appears, follow the instructions provided on the portal. Farmers who have difficulty correcting their information can seek assistance from the relevant service centre.
How to Complete PM-Kisan e-KYC
The scheme provides three e-KYC methods: Aadhaar-linked OTP verification, fingerprint authentication and face authentication.
1. OTP-based verification
Farmers with an active mobile number linked to Aadhaar can complete verification online through the PM-Kisan website or mobile app. On the website, select the e-KYC option, enter your Aadhaar number and provide the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Follow the instructions to finish the process, then check your status again to confirm completion.
2. Fingerprint verification
Farmers who cannot complete the online process may visit a Common Service Centre (CSC) for fingerprint-based authentication. State Service Centres may also provide assistance to those who need help completing their verification.
3. Face authentication
Face-based verification can be completed using a mobile phone. Download the PM-KISAN app and the Aadhaar Face RD app from the Google Play Store.
Log in to the PM-KISAN app using the mobile number registered under the scheme. Open the Beneficiary Status section and check the e-KYC entry. If the status displays “No,” select e-KYC and follow the on-screen instructions to complete face authentication.
What Farmers Should Do Before October 30
Farmers awaiting the 24th instalment should check their beneficiary status, complete any pending e-KYC requirements and ensure their personal, banking and land records are accurate.
After the scheduled release, beneficiaries should also check their bank accounts to confirm whether the ₹2,000 payment has been credited. If the money does not arrive, they should review their status and seek assistance through the appropriate official channels.
