New Delhi-Danapur Special Train: With Diwali and Chhath Puja approaching, the demand for train tickets is expected to increase as passengers travel to their hometowns. To handle the festive rush and provide additional travel options, North Central Railway has announced a special train service between New Delhi and Danapur.
The train will operate through important stations including Govindpuri (Kanpur), Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara. Here are the key details of the special service.
New Delhi-Danapur Special Train: Coach Details
According to North Central Railway, the special service will operate on the New Delhi-Danapur route via Govindpuri (Kanpur), Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara.
The train will have 19 coaches in total. The rake will include 10 AC 3-tier coaches, four sleeper class coaches, three general class coaches and one SLR coach.
Check Train Number and Timings
The New Delhi-Danapur Special Train will operate under train number 04090. It will leave New Delhi at 11:30 PM every Friday during the period from October 2 to November 20 and will reach Danapur at 3:00 PM the following day.
For the return journey, train number 04089 will operate from Danapur to New Delhi. It will depart Danapur at 4:40 PM every Saturday from October 3 to November 21 and reach New Delhi at 9:45 AM the next morning.
New Delhi-Danapur Special Train Stops
The special train will operate once a week between New Delhi and Danapur. During the announced period, it will complete eight trips in each direction.
As per the information shared by North Central Railway, the train will stop at the following stations in both directions:
- Delhi Junction
- Ghaziabad
- Chipiyana Buzurg
- Aligarh
- Tundla
- Govindpuri (Kanpur)
- Prayagraj
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction
- Buxar
- Ara
The special service is scheduled to operate from October 2 to November 21, providing an additional train option for passengers travelling between New Delhi and Danapur during the festive period.
