Kagurabachi Vol. 12 has made a strong debut in Japan, opening at No. 1 on this week’s Oricon manga sales chart. The latest volume sold an estimated 50,941 physical copies, putting it ahead of several popular manga series.
Dandadan Vol. 25 secured the second position with 43,453 copies, while last week’s No. 1 title, Kingdom Vol. 80, slipped to third place with 37,039 copies.
The latest ranking saw a significant shake-up, with seven new releases entering the Top 10. Shueisha had a particularly dominant week, accounting for eight of the ten highest-ranked volumes.
Kagurabachi Vol. 12 Opens at No. 1
Kagurabachi Vol. 12 immediately claimed the top position after its release, recording 50,941 estimated sales.
Dandadan Vol. 25 was not far behind, selling 43,453 copies in its opening week. The difference between the two new releases was 7,488 copies.
Combined, the latest volumes of Kagurabachi and Dandadan sold 94,394 copies, making up more than one-third of the total sales recorded by this week’s Top 10.
Kingdom Vol. 80 Drops to Third Place
After leading the previous week’s chart, Kingdom Vol. 80 moved down to No. 3.
The volume sold an estimated 37,039 copies during the latest tracking period, a 56.5% decline from the 85,164 copies recorded the week before. Despite the weekly drop, its estimated cumulative sales have now reached 402,418 copies.
Meanwhile, Made in Abyss Vol. 15 fell from second to sixth place. Its weekly sales declined by 67.3%, with the volume selling 20,379 copies.
Blue Lock Vol. 40 also slipped down the chart, moving from No. 3 to No. 7. It recorded 17,833 copies sold, representing a 45.3% week-on-week decline.
Shueisha Dominates This Week’s Top 10
The arrival of several new manga volumes dramatically changed the weekly ranking. Eight of the Top 10 titles were published by Shueisha, including all of the first five positions.
Those eight Shueisha releases generated an estimated 225,148 copies in combined sales.
That figure represents approximately 85.5% of the 263,360 copies sold across the entire Top 10.
The publisher’s strong performance was largely boosted by the impressive debuts of Kagurabachi Vol. 12 and Dandadan Vol. 25.

With seven new volumes entering the Top 10 this week, the latest ranking also demonstrates the strong sales momentum surrounding major manga releases from Shueisha and other publishers.
