Infinix is preparing to launch its gaming-focused flagship smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro, in India on October 27. Designed for mobile gaming enthusiasts, the upcoming handset will combine performance-oriented hardware, advanced cooling technology and dedicated gaming accessories.

The company is also introducing a range of peripherals intended to expand the smartphone’s gaming capabilities. These include a detachable controller, a docking station for external displays and a magnetic cooling fan, creating an integrated gaming setup for users who want more than a conventional smartphone experience.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Gaming Accessories and Connectivity

The Infinix GT 50 Pro will be accompanied by the GT NX Controller, which attaches directly to the smartphone and features ergonomic grips, Hall-effect analogue triggers and customisable button layouts. The controller can also separate into two independent wireless handles that connect through Bluetooth, allowing two players to enjoy local cooperative gaming.

For users who prefer gaming on a larger screen, the GT NX Station will allow the smartphone to connect to a compatible monitor or television. The docking station supports video output at resolutions of up to 4K at 60Hz.

It also offers nine-in-one connectivity, including HDMI, USB ports, wired Ethernet, expandable storage and dedicated audio pass-through. These features are designed to make the smartphone suitable for a broader range of gaming and entertainment setups.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Specifications and Cooling Technology

The upcoming smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor. Its front panel will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, targeting users who prioritise smooth visuals and responsive gameplay.

The device will also include GT Trigger 2.0 physical shoulder buttons, giving gamers additional controls during supported games. Infinix has incorporated its HydroFlow liquid cooling architecture to help manage heat during extended gaming sessions. The CyberMecha RGB rear panel adds a distinctive design element to the handset.

Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery, designed to support prolonged use.

GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0: Cooling and Wireless Charging

Infinix is also introducing the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, an accessory that combines 12W thermoelectric cooling with 15W wireless charging. It is intended to help manage temperatures while keeping the phone powered during demanding gaming sessions.

When connected to the GT 50 Pro, the accessory supports wireless bypass charging. This feature directs power to the system rather than relying entirely on charging the battery, helping reduce heat buildup and battery degradation during use.

With its combination of a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, a large battery, dedicated gaming controls and modular accessories, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is positioned as a gaming-centric smartphone. More details about its availability and pricing in India are expected around its October 27 launch.
