Lava has officially introduced the Aura Curve 5G smartphone in India at a price of ₹23,999. The launch also marks the debut of the company’s dedicated Aura series, developed specifically for the offline retail market. The new handset combines a stylish design with upgraded hardware and features aimed at everyday smartphone users.
The Lava Aura Curve 5G stands out with its curved display, vegan leather finish and a small secondary screen on the rear panel. The additional display can show notifications and provide music controls. Other key highlights include a 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and a clean Android experience without third-party bloatware.
Lava Aura Curve 5G Specifications and Display
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers peak brightness of 1,100 nits and supports 1,920Hz PWM dimming.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with support for up to 6GB of virtual RAM expansion.
On the software front, the Lava Aura Curve 5G runs Android 16 with Lava’s Vayu AI features. The company has promised two years of operating system upgrades and three years of security patches.
Camera, Battery and Other Features
For photography, the Lava Aura Curve 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 primary rear camera featuring electronic image stabilisation (EIS). The camera supports 2K video recording, while a 13-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The handset packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. However, the retail box includes a 33W charger.
Additional features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers and an infrared blaster. The smartphone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.

The Lava Aura Curve 5G is priced at ₹23,999 in India for its single configuration, featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Buyers can choose between two colour options: Ambar Blue and Him Silver. The smartphone is available through Lava’s offline retail network across India.
