New Delhi: Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 has crossed ₹257 crore in India net collections as it enters its second week in theatres. The film has already surpassed the lifetime domestic earnings of Drishyam 2 and is now moving towards another major box office record in the actor’s career.

By 10 pm on Day 8, the film had added ₹11.73 crore to its India net collection, taking the total to ₹257.23 crore. Its next milestone is Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which holds the record as Ajay Devgn’s highest-grossing film, with a lifetime India net collection of ₹279.59 crore.

Drishyam 3 Box Office Collection So Far

Drishyam 3 opened strongly at the Indian box office, earning ₹66.75 crore net on its first day. Advance bookings had started on September 27 and generated ₹27 crore before the film’s release.

Its opening-day performance marked the third-biggest debut for a Hindi film and the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career.

The film continued its strong run over the first weekend, collecting ₹53.50 crore on Saturday and ₹61 crore on Sunday. By the end of its first week, its domestic net earnings had reached ₹245.50 crore.

Although collections dropped on Monday, the film continued to draw audiences during its second week. It has also moved ahead of the lifetime box office collections of several films, including Karuppu, Sikandar and Awarapan 2.

Drishyam 3 Surpasses Drishyam 2

With its India net collection standing at ₹257.23 crore, Drishyam 3 has overtaken Drishyam 2, which finished its theatrical run with ₹239.67 crore net in India.

The film now needs approximately ₹22.36 crore more to surpass Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, whose lifetime India net collection stands at ₹279.59 crore.

Reaching that figure would put Drishyam 3 ahead of Ajay Devgn’s current career-best domestic performer. Its box office performance in the coming days will determine whether it can achieve the milestone.
