New Double-Line Bridge to Improve Rail Connectivity

The ongoing railway work is associated with the development around the Rajendra Bridge area near Mokama. The commissioning of a new double-line rail bridge is expected to improve train movement within the East Central Railway zone.

The new rail network will connect important stations including Upper Hathidah Junction, Rampur Dumra, Dinkar Gram Simaria and Barauni Junction. A modern signalling system will also support operations across the connected section.

Passengers planning to travel to Bihar during the festive season should therefore verify their train’s latest schedule before heading to the railway station.
