Apple is set to open pre-orders for its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, in India at 5:30 PM IST on Friday, October 16. The premium device starts at ₹2,99,900, while the top-end variant with 2TB of storage is priced at ₹4,49,900.
Customers can place their orders through Apple’s official India website or the Apple Store app. According to the company, the smartphone will become generally available from October 23. Buyers can choose between two colour options, Star White and Night Sky, with pricing determined by storage capacity rather than colour.

Pre-Order Time, Payment Offers and Exchange Benefits
Apple’s India store confirms that pre-orders will open at 5:30 PM IST on October 16. Customers who saved their preferred configuration in their shopping bag before 9:30 AM may be able to complete checkout more quickly once ordering begins. However, saving a configuration does not count as placing a pre-order.
The online store also lists financial offers, including up to six months of no-cost EMI and instant cashback of up to ₹7,000. These benefits are subject to eligible payment cards and the applicable terms and conditions.
Apple is also advertising trade-in credit for eligible iPhone 13 and newer models. The final exchange value will depend on the device being traded in and its condition.
iPhone Duo Features and Display Details
The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch folding inner display and a 5.4-inch external screen. It is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip and supports Split View multitasking, allowing users to work with multiple applications on the display.
