Reliance Jio has introduced a special ₹55 recharge pack for customers interested in watching the India vs New Zealand cricket match. The offer, promoted as “Watch Live IND vs NZ”, combines high-speed internet data with access to live television channels through the JioTV app.
The affordable recharge provides 3GB of high-speed data and access to more than 1,000 live TV channels for 30 days. However, the data and television benefits come with different validity periods. Here is everything you need to know about the Jio ₹55 recharge plan.
Jio ₹55 Recharge Plan: Watch India vs New Zealand Live
The main attraction of this recharge is the Watch Live IND vs NZ offer, which is aimed at cricket fans who want to follow the match on their smartphones.
Customers can use the JioTV app to access the available live television coverage. This can be useful for people who are travelling or away from home during the match.
Before recharging, users should check the MyJio app to confirm the availability of the India vs New Zealand match and the relevant broadcasting channel under this offer.
Get 3GB High-Speed Data for 3 Days
Along with cricket streaming access, Jio’s ₹55 pack provides a total of 3GB of high-speed internet data.
The data benefit comes with a validity of three days, allowing customers to use the available data according to their requirements during this period.
Once the 3GB data allowance is exhausted, the internet speed is reduced to 64Kbps. At this reduced speed, watching live video content may become difficult.
Access to More Than 1,000 Live TV Channels
Another feature of the Jio ₹55 recharge is access to over 1,000 live television channels through the JioTV mobile application.
The channel selection includes entertainment, sports and other popular television networks.
Some of the channels mentioned in the offer include Sony Sports, Sony Ten, SET HD, Star Plus HD, Colors HD, Sun TV HD, KTV HD, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and ETV HD.
This gives customers access to a variety of television content beyond cricket.
Jio ₹55 Plan Validity: Important Details
One important point to understand is that the internet data and live TV benefits have separate validity periods.
The 3GB high-speed data is available for three days, whereas access to live TV channels remains available for 30 days.
Therefore, customers should remember that exhausting the 3GB data allowance will not extend its validity. They may need an additional internet connection or data recharge to continue streaming television content after their high-speed data is used up.
