OnePlus has revealed key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 ahead of its official launch in China on October 29. The company has confirmed the smartphone’s processor, battery capacity and fast-charging capabilities, along with details about its primary rear camera.
The OnePlus Ace 7 is set to launch alongside the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro. The standard model will feature a 200-megapixel primary camera and will be available in three colour options. It is also expected to offer up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
OnePlus Ace 7 Processor and Performance
In posts shared on Weibo, OnePlus confirmed that the Ace 7 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset, carrying the model number SM8850-1-AB.
The octa-core processor features two prime cores clocked at up to 4.6GHz and six performance cores running at speeds of up to 3.62GHz.
The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro, meanwhile, will use the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Compared with the regular version of the chipset, the V Series variant has one fewer Adreno GPU slice and a smaller cache capacity.
Both models are also expected to appeal to gaming enthusiasts. The standard Ace 7 has been confirmed to feature a self-developed Esports Triple Chip system, which is also present in the Pro variant.
OnePlus Ace 7 Battery and Camera Specifications
One of the key highlights of the OnePlus Ace 7 is its 9,000mAh battery. The smartphone will support 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, according to the company’s latest announcements.
For photography, the device is confirmed to feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera. OnePlus has not yet disclosed details about the other rear camera sensors or the front-facing camera.
The combination of a high-resolution main camera and a large battery is among the major specifications revealed ahead of the smartphone’s launch.
OnePlus Ace 7 Display and Cooling Features
Earlier this month, OnePlus confirmed that the Ace 7 would feature a display with a 185Hz refresh rate. The high-refresh-rate panel is expected to support smoother visuals, particularly during gaming.
The smartphone will also include a Dual-Path Glacier Air Cooling System for thermal management. According to the company, this cooling technology is designed to help maintain frame rates during extended gaming sessions while keeping the device up to 10 degrees Celsius cooler during continuous gameplay.
These features complement the phone’s Snapdragon chipset and dedicated Esports Triple Chip system, with gaming performance forming a key part of its specifications.
OnePlus Ace 7 Launch Date, RAM and Colour Options
The OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro are scheduled to launch in China on October 29. The standard model will be offered with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
OnePlus has confirmed three colour options for the Ace 7: Flowing Night, Polar Night Black and Quenching, the latter translated from Chinese.
The company has disclosed several major specifications ahead of the launch, but further details about the camera system and other features are yet to be announced.
