Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its next W-series foldable smartphone in China, with newly leaked renders offering a detailed look at the upcoming Samsung W27. The images showcase the device in both folded and unfolded configurations, highlighting its design, colour scheme and camera arrangement.
The leak comes amid earlier reports about the handset’s expected specifications and launch timeline. The Samsung W27 is tipped to debut on October 29, although the company has yet to officially confirm the launch date.
Samsung W27 Design and Colour Options
Samsung W27 shows from multiple angles. The images reveal a dark blue rear panel paired with a gold-coloured frame and hinge, giving the foldable a distinctive two-tone appearance.
The rear panel houses a vertically aligned triple camera system, while a small insignia can be seen near the bottom. According to the reported details, Samsung may market this colour variant under the Aura Blue name.
The leaked renders also provide a closer look at the smartphone’s side profile and its design in both folded and unfolded states. Although the latest images highlight the blue finish, previous reports suggest that Samsung could offer the device in red as well.
Samsung W27 Specifications (Expected)
The Samsung W27 is expected to share most of its hardware specifications with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed the device’s specifications.
According to earlier reports, the foldable could feature an 8-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. These displays are expected to support its use in both folded and unfolded configurations.
For performance, the handset is tipped to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. Its rear camera system could include a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel secondary sensor and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.
The Samsung W27 is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.

Samsung is expected to unveil the W27 in China on October 29. However, the company has not yet announced the launch officially.
