ReiseMoto has introduced the MT Thunder 4 SV in India, expanding its range of MT Helmets in the country. Designed as a sport-touring full-face helmet, the new model targets riders who want a combination of safety, comfort and practicality for both everyday commuting and long-distance travel.
The helmet comes with several safety and convenience features, including multiple certifications, an integrated sun visor and compatibility with communication systems.
MT Thunder 4 SV Safety Features and Certifications
Safety is one of the major highlights of the MT Thunder 4 SV. The helmet complies with the ECE 22.06 safety standard and also carries DOT and ISI certifications.
Adding to its safety credentials, the helmet has received a 5-star rating from SHARP, the UK’s independent helmet safety testing programme.
The Thunder 4 SV uses MT Helmets’ HIRP shell, which is designed to provide a balance between impact protection and overall weight. It also features an emergency release system intended to assist with safer helmet removal after a crash.
Aerodynamics and Ventilation for Highway Riding
MT Helmets has equipped the Thunder 4 SV with its Reduced Aero Drag Design (MT-RADD), aimed at improving aerodynamic performance. The helmet also gets the MT Air Flow Channel System (MT-AFCS), which is designed to improve airflow through the interior.
These features are intended to enhance ventilation while helping maintain stability, particularly when riding at highway speeds.
Sun Visor, Pinlock Support and Communication Compatibility
For added convenience during daily use, the MT Thunder 4 SV comes with an integrated retractable sun visor. It also features MT’s Quick Visor Swap System (MT-QVSS), allowing the main visor to be changed conveniently.
The primary visor is compatible with Pinlock 100% Max Vision. The helmet’s interior padding can also be removed and washed.
Riders using communication devices can take advantage of dedicated speaker pockets, while the helmet supports universal intercom setups.
