LPG Cylinder Price Today, September 24, 2026: LPG prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities on Thursday. The rates of both the 14.2 kg domestic cylinder and the 19 kg commercial cylinder are currently at the levels fixed at the beginning of September.
According to IndianOil’s latest published rates, a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder costs ₹942 in Delhi, while the 19 kg commercial cylinder is priced at ₹2,747.50. Similar rates continue to apply in other major cities.
The current LPG rates are particularly relevant ahead of the festive season, when household consumption as well as demand from hotels, restaurants and other commercial establishments generally increases.
LPG Cylinder Price Today: No Fresh Change
There was no new LPG price revision on September 24. Domestic cylinder prices have remained unchanged, while commercial LPG rates were revised earlier in September.
From September 1, oil marketing companies increased the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders by roughly ₹9.50 to ₹11.50, depending on the city. Domestic LPG prices were left unchanged at that time.
IndianOil’s published metro rates show that the current 14.2 kg domestic cylinder costs ₹942 in Delhi, ₹968 in Kolkata, ₹941.50 in Mumbai and ₹957.50 in Chennai. The corresponding 19 kg commercial cylinder prices are ₹2,747.50, ₹2,884, ₹2,701 and ₹2,916.50 respectively.

LPG Production Increased Ahead of Festive Demand
State-owned refiners have increased domestic LPG production as festive-season demand begins to rise. Domestic output has reached around 44,000 tonnes per day, which is nearly 20% higher than the average production level in August.
The increase comes at a time when supply from the Persian Gulf remains uncertain because of ongoing disruptions. Refiners are therefore increasing domestic production to support LPG availability as demand rises during the festive period.
The higher production is aimed at strengthening domestic supply and helping meet the expected increase in cooking-gas demand in the coming weeks.
