Toyota is preparing updates for two of its popular models in India — the Glanza and the Innova Hycross. The Glanza facelift is expected to be unveiled on October 14, 2026, while the updated Innova Hycross could arrive in early 2027.
Neither model is expected to be a completely new-generation vehicle. Instead, Toyota is likely to introduce changes to the exterior design, cabin features and selected mechanical components. Here is what is currently expected from both facelifts.
Toyota Glanza Facelift: Expected Changes
The Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to make its debut on October 14, 2026. Like the existing model, the updated hatchback will continue to share its platform and several mechanical components with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The Glanza competes in the premium hatchback segment against cars such as the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz. With the facelift, Toyota is expected to give the model a refreshed appearance and additional equipment.

After the Glanza, Toyota is expected to introduce an updated Innova Hycross in early 2027. Test vehicles of the facelift have already been spotted in India, while patent filings have provided indications about possible changes to the exterior design.
The Innova Hycross is known for its spacious three-row cabin, and the facelift is expected to retain its overall MPV layout and roomy interior. Most of the changes are likely to focus on styling, equipment and cabin upgrades.
At the front, the updated Hycross could feature a larger grille, slimmer headlamps and revised lighting elements. Reports have also suggested that the styling could take inspiration from the upcoming Hilux, potentially giving the MPV a more modern appearance.
Interior Updates and Existing Powertrain Options
Changes are also expected inside the Innova Hycross. Toyota could revise the dashboard design, upholstery and infotainment system while adding improvements to the cabin’s overall equipment and convenience features.
However, the spacious three-row layout is not expected to undergo major changes. Toyota is likely to concentrate on improving cabin quality, technology and everyday usability instead.
