iQOO is preparing to introduce its new gaming-focused tablet, the iQOO Pad Ultra, in China on September 29. The tablet will be unveiled alongside the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 16.
Designed with gaming and e-sports users in mind, the iQOO Pad Ultra will feature a compact form factor, flagship-level hardware and a large battery. Here is what is currently known about the upcoming tablet.
iQOO Pad Ultra Gets an 8.8-Inch Display
The iQOO Pad Ultra will feature an 8.8-inch display and is expected to weigh only 298 grams. The tablet will measure just 5.74mm in thickness, making it both slim and lightweight.
The compact screen size appears to be aimed specifically at gamers. It provides more screen space than a smartphone while remaining easier to handle than a conventional larger tablet.
Flagship Chipset and Gaming Hardware
Performance will be one of the key highlights of the iQOO Pad Ultra. The tablet is expected to combine a flagship processor with a dedicated e-sports chip. While the exact processor has not yet been officially confirmed, recent reports suggest that the device could use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset.
To support extended gaming sessions, the tablet is also expected to feature iQOO’s largest active cooling fan. The cooling system is designed to help manage heat generated during demanding gaming workloads.
The device is also reported to come with dual X-axis linear motors and enhanced speakers. The linear motors are expected to provide stronger vibration feedback during gameplay, while the upgraded speakers should contribute to a more immersive gaming experience.
9,000mAh Battery and Colour Options
The iQOO Pad Ultra is expected to pack a 9,000mAh battery. If confirmed, the large battery combined with the tablet’s slim 5.74mm body will be one of its notable specifications.
The tablet will be launched in black and silver colour options. iQOO is scheduled to officially unveil the Pad Ultra in China on September 29.
At present, the company has not provided official details about the tablet’s availability in India or other global markets.
