Samsung Galaxy S26 Price Hike in India: Check Reported New Prices and Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S26 users in India could soon see a significant change in the phone’s price. According to a recent report, Samsung may increase the price of both Galaxy S26 storage variants by ₹12,000.

The reported revision has not been officially confirmed by Samsung yet. The Galaxy S26 Ultra and Samsung’s upcoming foldable models, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, have also been mentioned in reports about possible price increases, but those changes remain unconfirmed.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Reported New Prices

The reported price revision comes from tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu), who claimed on X that Samsung could increase the Galaxy S26 prices in India.

According to the report, the 12GB + 256GB model could see its price rise from ₹87,999 to ₹99,999. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB variant could reportedly increase from ₹1,07,999 to ₹1,19,999.

Samsung’s official India website currently lists the Galaxy S26 with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage options. The launch prices announced by Samsung were ₹87,999 and ₹1,07,999, respectively.

As of the latest available information, the reported revised prices have not been officially reflected on Samsung’s website.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Specifications

The Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. The phone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor in India and comes with 12GB of RAM.

For photography, the smartphone has a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP wide camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera and 10MP telephoto camera. The telephoto lens supports 3x optical zoom, while the main camera also supports OIS.

The device packs a 4,300mAh battery and supports fast wired charging. Samsung also lists wireless charging support for the Galaxy S26.

Galaxy AI and Durable Design

The Galaxy S26 comes with Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features designed to assist with everyday tasks, photography and other smartphone functions. Samsung has also introduced improvements to AI-powered experiences across the S26 series.

For durability, the Galaxy S26 uses an Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone also carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

For now, the reported ₹12,000 price increase remains unconfirmed. Samsung has not announced an official price revision or an effective date for the alleged hike.
