OnePlus is preparing to expand its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the OnePlus N6 Lite in India. The company has confirmed that the new smartphone will arrive on September 22 and is expected to be positioned as its most affordable offering yet.
The OnePlus N6 Lite will bring several notable features to the budget segment, including a large 7,000mAh battery, a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and AI-powered camera tools.
OnePlus N6 Lite Launch Date and Availability
The OnePlus N6 Lite will officially launch in India on September 22. After its launch, the smartphone will be available through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app and Amazon India.
Customers will also be able to purchase the device from OnePlus Experience Stores and other retail outlets.
7,000mAh Battery and 120Hz Display
The battery is one of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus N6 Lite. It will pack a 7,000mAh battery, with OnePlus claiming that the phone can deliver up to three days of usage on a single full charge.
The company says the device can provide around 26.8 hours of video playback, up to 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation and as much as 49.7 hours of calling. The smartphone will also support wired reverse charging.
On the front, the N6 Lite will feature a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and a more fluid viewing experience. The screen will also feature rounded edges for a modern appearance.
Colours, Durability and AI Features
The OnePlus N6 Lite will be offered in two colour options: Midnight Hype and Neo Green. The smartphone will also feature MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability.
For photography, OnePlus is adding AI-based features such as AI Clear Face and AI Eraser. AI Clear Face is designed to improve facial details in photographs, while AI Eraser can be used to remove unwanted objects from images.
The smartphone is expected to run OxygenOS 16. However, OnePlus has not yet revealed complete details about the processor and other software specifications.
OnePlus N6 Lite Price in India
OnePlus has not announced the official price of the N6 Lite yet. The company is expected to position it as its most affordable smartphone.
At present, the OnePlus N6x is the entry-level model in the company’s budget lineup, with a starting price of ₹20,999. The final pricing and complete specifications of the OnePlus N6 Lite are expected to be revealed around its September 22 launch.
