Vivo is set to introduce its latest V-series smartphone, the Vivo V80, in India on October 6, 2026, at 12 PM IST. The company has already confirmed several key details of the upcoming handset, including its large battery, high-refresh-rate OLED display and ZEISS-powered camera system.
The Vivo V80 will feature a 7,200mAh battery and a 50MP ZEISS camera setup. The smartphone has also been listed on Amazon India ahead of its launch, while Vivo has revealed three colour options for the device.
Vivo V80 Price in India
The official price of the Vivo V80 will be announced at launch. However, tipster Ahsan Kharbai (@AHSANKHARBAI) has claimed that the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant carries an MRP of ₹1,19,999.
Since the printed MRP on a smartphone box can be higher than its actual selling price, the tipster has suggested that the Vivo V80 could launch at a price above ₹60,000.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset is expected to power the smartphone, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo’s official specifications also list the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform for the V80.
Vivo V80 Specifications and Camera Features
The Vivo V80 will come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate. It will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. The handset will also feature a one-piece cold-carved glass design and a floating camera module.
For photography, the smartphone will have a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera and a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera. A 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie camera will be available on the front. The telephoto camera supports 3x optical zoom and up to 100x zoom, while the phone can also record 4K cinematic video and 4K video at 60fps.
The camera system is one of the major highlights of the Vivo V80, with ZEISS branding across its imaging features.
7,200mAh Battery and 90W Charging
Battery capacity is another major feature of the Vivo V80. The phone packs a 7,200mAh battery and supports 90W FlashCharge technology.
According to Vivo, the battery can provide up to 14 hours of navigation and as much as 39.5 hours of local video playback.
The Vivo V80 will be launched in India on October 6 at 12 PM IST. It will be offered in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black colour options. After launch, the smartphone will be available through Vivo’s India website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail channels.
