New Delhi: The upcoming Hindi spy comedy Udta Teer has received a UA 13+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after the filmmakers made several changes requested by the board. One of the key modifications involved removing a shot depicting blood on a map of India.
Produced jointly by Sikhya Entertainment and Dharma Productions, the film received its censor certificate on October 1, 2026. The approved version runs for 137 minutes and 41 seconds, or approximately two hours and 18 minutes. It has been certified for theatrical screening in 2D with English subtitles.
CBFC Directs Removal of India Map Visual
According to the certification details, the CBFC Revising Committee instructed the filmmakers to delete the visual showing blood on the map of India. The preceding shot was extended to maintain continuity after the scene was removed.
The committee also required the inclusion of statutory health warnings. A static anti-liquor warning was added at the 01:12:35 mark, while the mandatory “Smoking Kills” disclaimer was incorporated into several sequences as directed by the board.
Changes Made to the Film’s Closing Credits
The certification process also required modifications to the film’s end credits. The filmmakers were instructed to extend the closing-credit sequence to cover the remaining runtime and remove any blank screen space.
In addition, the background music accompanying the rolling credits was replaced to comply with the board’s directions.
After these changes were completed, the film received its UA 13+ classification. This rating indicates that parental guidance is advised for viewers below the age of 13.
