Several Indian stocks are likely to remain in focus when the domestic equity market opens on Monday, September 28, 2026. Company announcements, a major defence order and scheduled IPO-related share lock-in expiries are among the key developments investors will be tracking.

Ola Electric, Bharat Dynamics, Rajputana Stainless and Saatvik Green Energy are among the companies with notable events scheduled around the trading session. Broader market factors, including crude oil prices, global markets and geopolitical developments, could also influence overall sentiment.

Ola Electric Shares in Focus

Ola Electric Mobility will be closely watched on Monday as its board is scheduled to meet on September 28 to consider a proposal to raise funds through a rights issue of equity shares. The company has said the proposal remains subject to the required regulatory and statutory approvals.

The company has not disclosed the proposed size, pricing or intended use of funds for the rights issue. Ola Electric said the rights issue route is being considered to allow eligible retail, institutional and promoter-group shareholders to participate, subject to applicable laws.

The proposed fund-raising follows an earlier approval to raise up to ₹1,500 crore through equity shares and other securities. Of that amount, ₹780 crore was raised through a qualified institutional placement in June 2026, according to company-related reports.

Bharat Dynamics Shares in Focus

Bharat Dynamics is also on the market radar after the Ministry of Defence signed an ₹810.79-crore contract with the company on September 23 for the supply of 160 Satellite Smart Anti-Airfield Weapons (SAT-SAAW) and associated equipment for the Indian Air Force.

The contract was placed under the Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) category. SAT-SAAW is an air-to-ground precision-guided glide bomb developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The delivery schedule runs across 2027-28 and 2028-29.

Bharat Dynamics is also scheduled to hold its annual general meeting on September 28, giving the company another scheduled event for investors to track.

Rajputana Stainless and Saatvik Green Energy

Rajputana Stainless is set to see an IPO-related share lock-in expiry on September 28. According to the published IPO lock-in calendar, around 46 million shares, representing about 55% of the company’s outstanding shares, are scheduled to become eligible for trading.

Saatvik Green Energy is another company facing a sizeable lock-in expiry on the same day. Around 57.1 million shares, equivalent to approximately 45% of its outstanding shares, are scheduled to become eligible for trading on September 28.

A lock-in expiry only makes the specified shares eligible for trading. It does not mean that shareholders will necessarily sell those shares. The actual market activity will depend on individual shareholder decisions, trading volumes, liquidity and prevailing market conditions.

Other Stocks and Broader Market Factors

The September 28 lock-in calendar also includes CSM Technologies, Advit Jewels, Waterways Leisure Tourism and Awfis Space Solutions. The scheduled unlocks for these companies are smaller compared with Rajputana Stainless and Saatvik Green Energy.

Apart from company-specific developments, traders will be watching global market cues, crude oil prices, foreign fund flows and geopolitical developments. Recent Indian market sessions have also been influenced by movements in crude prices, global monetary conditions and geopolitical uncertainty.

For Monday’s session, investors will therefore have several company announcements and corporate events to track alongside broader market indicators. Ola Electric’s rights issue proposal, Bharat Dynamics’ defence contract and the scheduled IPO lock-in expiries at Rajputana Stainless and Saatvik Green Energy are among the key developments.
