Rishab Shetty to Play Lord Hanuman
Jai Hanuman is the much-anticipated follow-up to Prasanth Varma’s 2024 Telugu superhero film HanuMan. The upcoming project is a key part of the PVCU, which aims to bring stories inspired by Indian mythology to the screen.
National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty will portray Lord Hanuman in the film. The project was officially launched with a traditional puja ceremony on February 22, 2026, at Anjanadri Betta in Hampi, Karnataka, a location believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar backing the project. Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series is presenting the film.
Jai Hanuman Cast and Technical Team
Alongside Rishab Shetty, Rana Daggubati is expected to play a significant role in the film. Teja Sajja, who headlined HanuMan, is also slated to make a special appearance, maintaining his connection with the expanding cinematic universe.
The technical team includes veteran composer M. M. Keeravaani, who is responsible for the film’s music. Cinematography will be handled by Nimish Ravi, replacing S. Thirunavukkarasu.
