A disturbing video from Patna’s Barh area in Bihar has surfaced online, showing an overloaded e-rickshaw losing balance on a muddy, waterlogged road and overturning onto a motorcycle carrying a father and his young daughter.
The incident reportedly happened on a badly damaged stretch of road, where the e-rickshaw appears to have struggled to maintain its balance. As it tipped over, part of the vehicle fell directly toward the motorcycle, leaving the father and daughter trapped underneath.
“Save Me, Daddy!” Child Cries for Help
The video captures the tense moments following the accident. Trapped beneath the overturned e-rickshaw, the frightened child can be heard repeatedly crying, “Save me, Daddy, save me!”
Her father immediately tried to lift the heavy vehicle while people nearby rushed toward the scene. Several locals joined the rescue effort and began attempting to raise the overturned e-rickshaw.
After working together, the group managed to lift the vehicle enough to free the child. The footage shows locals helping pull her out from underneath the damaged vehicle.
Locals Rush to Help the Trapped Family
The quick response from people at the scene has attracted attention on social media. Many viewers praised the locals for immediately stepping in and helping the family during the emergency.
The rescue effort also highlighted how difficult it can be to respond to accidents involving heavy vehicles on narrow, damaged and waterlogged roads.
