Motorola is gearing up to introduce its premium flagship smartphone, the Motorola Signature 27, in global markets on November 5. The device was briefly showcased during Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit, but a newly released hands-on video has now revealed several additional hardware and software details ahead of its official launch.

The video offers a closer look at the smartphone’s display technology, design, processor, memory configurations and camera capabilities. However, details about its battery capacity, charging speed and battery technology have not yet been disclosed. More information is expected to become available as the launch approaches.

Motorola Signature 27 Hands-On Video Reveals Display and Design

Several specifications that were not discussed during the smartphone’s initial unveiling have now surfaced in a hands-on video shared by YouTuber. The video provides an overview of the device and highlights some of its key features.

According to the video, the Motorola Signature 27 will feature a 6.8-inch Tandem OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The advanced Tandem OLED technology, previously introduced on Apple’s recent Pro iPad and MacBook Pro models, is reportedly capable of delivering peak brightness of up to 12,000 nits. The display is also expected to support Dolby Vision.

The smartphone will reportedly be available in two colour options: Capulet Olive and Pantone Coal Smoke. Both variants are said to feature different textures. Its construction will combine aluminium and ceramic materials.

Motorola has also reportedly incorporated a vapour chamber cooling system that is 40 percent larger than its previous design.

Motorola Signature 27 Processor, RAM and Software

The Motorola Signature 27 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset, manufactured using a 2nm process. While the processor was already known from the smartphone’s earlier unveiling, the latest video reveals additional memory and storage details.

The device is expected to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.

On the software front, the smartphone will run Motorola’s customised version of Android 17. The company is also expected to provide seven years of operating system updates.

Another notable addition is dedicated motion-sensing hardware. This feature is designed to help the smartphone capture motion photos when users activate its Action Camera mode.

Motorola Signature 27 Camera Specifications

The hands-on video also provides further information about the smartphone’s camera system. The Motorola Signature 27 was previously reported to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera powered by Sony’s LYTIA 910 sensor, alongside a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

According to the newly shared details, the primary rear camera will support video recording at up to 8K resolution. The periscope telephoto camera is also said to offer up to 100x zoom.

In addition to these cameras, the smartphone is reportedly equipped with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, completing its rear camera setup.

Motorola Signature 27 Battery Details Remain Unknown

Despite the additional information revealed in the hands-on video, Motorola has not yet shared details about the Signature 27’s battery. Its battery capacity, technology and charging specifications remain undisclosed.

The smartphone was also showcased at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 event held in Delhi. The device attracted attention for its design approach, which moves away from conventional smartphone styling.
