Milan Fashion Week’s September 2026 edition brought together leading names from the global fashion industry at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. Running from September 22 to September 28, the event features Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear collections from prominent Italian and international designers.
The fashion week also highlighted Italian craftsmanship and local traditions, while several Indian celebrities, designers and personalities added their own touch of style to the international event.
Indian Celebrities at Milan Fashion Week 2026
Among the Indian personalities attending the September edition were actors Rashmika Mandanna and Aditi Rao Hydari, designers Manish Malhotra and Dhruv Kapoor, interior designer Jaya Raheja and businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla. Each brought a distinct fashion choice to the event.
Rashmika Mandanna Stuns in Anamika Khanna
Rashmika Mandanna opted for a black lace gown designed by Anamika Khanna. She complemented the outfit with Swarovski jewellery, a Gucci bag and Aquazzura heels.
The intricate gown reportedly took more than 350 hours to create. It featured a sheer corset and detailing around the hips, giving the ensemble a distinctive silhouette.
Manish Malhotra and Aditi Rao Hydari Bring Their Own Style
Manish Malhotra attended the event wearing a black velvet jacket from his MM Men’s Wear collection, styled with black trousers and leather Oxford shoes. He was present for a show celebrating archival Italian fashion.
For the occasion, Malhotra also dressed Claire Holt, whose jewellery was from his own jewellery label, Manish Malhotra Jewellery.
Meanwhile, Aditi Rao Hydari attended Tod’s Spring-Summer show in a sophisticated leather-on-leather ensemble. One of the standout elements of her outfit was a Tod’s leather bag customised with the monogram ‘ARH’.
Dhruv Kapoor, Jaya Raheja and Natasha Poonawalla at the Event
For Dhruv Kapoor, the September edition marked an important moment as he presented his Spring/Summer 2027 collection. The designer wore a sage green jacket from his label with relaxed, baggy trousers. His runway presentation incorporated elements such as the lungi, vest and saree into the collection.
Interior designer Jaya Raheja chose a sculpted Comme des Garçons dress featuring a black sheer layer over a voluminous tapered skirt. She accessorised the look with oval sunglasses and a Hermès Mini Kelly.
Natasha Poonawalla opted for a full-sleeved black lace gown with a distinctive neckline, completing her look with diamond studs.
The September edition of Milan Fashion Week brought together international fashion talent while also providing a platform for Indian celebrities and designers to showcase their individual style on the global fashion stage.
