1. Vogue World Makes Its Milan Debut
Vogue World arrived in Milan for its fifth edition after previous events in New York, London, Paris and Los Angeles.
The event took place at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the historic glass-covered arcade located between the Duomo and La Scala. This year’s theme, “The Human Touch in the Age of Technology,” placed a focus on craftsmanship at a time when technology and artificial intelligence are increasingly influencing creative industries.
2. Dhruv Kapoor Brings Indian Fashion and RCB to the Runway
Indian designer Dhruv Kapoor opened his Spring/Summer 2027 showcase in Milan with his collection, Presence. The show took place on the opening day of Milan Fashion Week alongside presentations from Prada and Diesel.
The collection also featured a collaboration between PUMA India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The partnership brought the IPL team’s fan culture to the runway, with statement jackets that transformed existing PUMA pieces through Kapoor’s design approach.
The collaboration is expected to continue, with a larger release planned ahead of IPL 2027 in March.
3. Glenn Martens Presents His Final Diesel Collection
One of the major moments of this year’s Milan Fashion Week was Glenn Martens’ farewell to Diesel.
His Spring/Summer 2027 collection, presented on September 22, marked his final show as the brand’s creative director after six years at the helm. During his tenure, Martens played a central role in Diesel’s return to the spotlight within the fashion industry.
Martens will continue his work as the creative director of Maison Margiela, but his departure from Diesel marks the end of a significant chapter for the Italian label.
4. Giorgio Armani Celebrates 50 Years in Fashion
This year’s Milan Fashion Week also highlights Giorgio Armani’s 50-year career in fashion.
A retrospective featuring 150 archival pieces opened at the Pinacoteca di Brera as part of the celebrations. Armani’s own fashion show is scheduled to close the week, placing his legacy at both the beginning and end of this season’s celebrations.

Maria Grazia Chiuri is also back in the spotlight at Milan Fashion Week with her second collection for Fendi.
