Lava Virat Curve 5G: Lava has introduced a new smartphone in its Virat series in India. The Lava Virat Curve 5G was launched on Monday and comes with a 6,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor and a 120Hz curved AMOLED display.
The smartphone is available in three colour options and comes with a 50-megapixel Sony primary camera. It also supports 45W charging. Here is everything you need to know about its price, specifications and features.
Lava Virat Curve 5G Price and Sale Date
The Lava Virat Curve 5G has been launched in a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, priced at ₹23,999.
As part of the launch offer, customers can purchase the smartphone for ₹19,999 after applying applicable bank discounts. The device comes in Ellora Slate, Heritage Indigo and Makrana Ivory colour options.
Sales of the smartphone will begin on September 28 through Flipkart.
Lava Virat Curve 5G Display and Performance
The Lava Virat Curve 5G runs on Android 16 and features a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 × 2,400 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users also get support for up to 6GB of virtual RAM.
Camera and Battery Features
For photography, the Lava Virat Curve 5G has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 primary camera with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). A 13-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone features an in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. However, the company provides a 33W charger in the box.
Lava claims that the phone can deliver up to 55 hours of talk time, up to 720 hours of standby time and up to 660 minutes of YouTube playback on a single charge.
The smartphone measures 162.26 × 73.51 × 8.55 mm and weighs 184 grams.
