Lava has added a new smartphone to its Virat lineup with the launch of the Virat Curve 5G in India. The new handset features a 6.67-inch 120Hz curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone also comes with a 50MP Sony IMX752 primary rear camera, a 13MP selfie camera and a 6,000mAh battery. It supports 45W wired fast charging and runs stock Android 16 out of the box.
The Virat Curve 5G joins the existing Virat Series, which includes the Virat V1, Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 Pro 5G.
Lava Virat Curve 5G Price and Sale Date
The Lava Virat Curve 5G is available in a single configuration with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Its regular price has been set at Rs 23,999. As part of the launch offer, however, buyers can get the smartphone for Rs 19,999, providing a saving of Rs 4,000.
The phone will be sold in three colour options: Heritage Indigo, Makrana Ivory and Ellora Slate.
The first sale is scheduled to begin on September 28, 2026, at 7 PM IST through Flipkart.
Lava Virat Curve 5G Specifications and Features
The smartphone sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 1,100 nits.
Under the hood, the Virat Curve 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. It is paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with support for an additional 6GB of virtual RAM.
One of the phone’s notable design elements is a small secondary display positioned alongside the rear camera module. The mini screen can show incoming call alerts, music controls, battery levels and custom text or emojis. This allows users to check selected information without turning on the main display.
For photography, the phone features a 50MP Sony IMX752 primary camera on the rear. A 13MP camera is provided on the front for selfies and video calls.
Battery, Durability and Software
The Lava Virat Curve 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 45W wired fast charging. However, the company includes a 33W charger in the box.
For added durability, the smartphone has an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water ingress. It also carries MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification for protection against everyday wear and tear.
On the software front, the handset runs stock Android 16. Lava says the device will receive two years of operating system upgrades and three years of security updates.
