Jio’s ₹749 Family Postpaid Plan is designed for this purpose and includes data, unlimited calling and access to several digital entertainment services.

Jio ₹749 Family Plan: Monthly Charges, Data and Calling Benefits
Jio charges a monthly rental of ₹749 for this family postpaid plan. Unlike prepaid recharges that come with fixed validity periods, such as 28 or 84 days, postpaid customers are billed according to their billing cycle.
The plan includes a total of 100GB of data. Once this limit is exhausted, additional data is charged at ₹10 per GB. Customers also receive an extra 5GB of data every month for each additional family SIM.
For calling, the plan provides unlimited voice calls along with 100 SMS messages per day. Unlimited 5G data is also available to eligible users under the applicable conditions.
One of the key features is the option to connect up to three additional family SIMs with the primary number. However, these add-on connections are not free and cost ₹150 per SIM per month.
Netflix Basic, Amazon Prime Lite and JioHotstar Subscriptions
Entertainment subscriptions are among the main attractions of Jio’s ₹749 family postpaid plan. It includes access to Netflix Basic and Amazon Prime Lite, allowing users to watch movies, web series and other digital content.
With Netflix Basic, subscribers can stream content available on the platform. The Amazon Prime Lite benefit provides access to Prime Video’s entertainment library. However, the bundled Amazon Prime Lite subscription comes with a specific condition: the offer is available as a one-time benefit for the first two years.
The plan also includes JioTV and a JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood subscription. This gives customers additional options for watching entertainment content on their mobile devices.
To continue using JioHotstar, customers must maintain an active and eligible postpaid connection and pay their bills on time. They must also sign in to JioHotstar or JioAICloud using the same Jio mobile number on which the plan is active.
JioAICloud Storage and Additional Family SIM Benefits
Jio is also providing 50GB of complimentary JioAICloud storage with this plan. Users can store photos, videos and other digital files online, which may be useful when their phone’s internal storage is running low.
For families looking to manage multiple mobile connections, the plan allows up to three additional SIM cards alongside the primary connection. Each add-on SIM receives 5GB of extra data per month.
Customers should remember that every additional family SIM carries a monthly charge of ₹150. This amount is separate from the plan’s ₹749 monthly rental.
The plan also has certain conditions for customers using other bundled digital benefits. An active Unlimited 5G plan priced at ₹349 or above is required to continue benefits such as Canva Pro Lite, JioHotstar Mobile and the previously claimed Google Gemini Pro.
