New Delhi: Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is continuing its strong run at the Indian box office, with collections rising on Saturday after a comparatively lower figure on Friday. According to the latest figures from Sacnilk, the Nelson Dilipkumar-directed action drama collected ₹47.80 crore on its third day, taking its total domestic net collection to ₹144.60 crore.
Released in theatres on Thursday amid considerable anticipation, the film has crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India within its first three days. Its latest earnings have brought it close to the ₹150 crore milestone as the opening weekend progresses.
Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 3
Jailer 2 generated strong interest even before its theatrical release. Advance bookings in India opened on October 10, five days before the film arrived in cinemas, while pre-sales in some overseas markets began a day earlier. By the end of October 14, worldwide advance bookings had reportedly crossed ₹80 crore.
The film sold approximately 18 lakh tickets through opening-day advance bookings in India, generating around ₹37 crore. On Thursday, it recorded domestic net earnings of ₹59.70 crore across 15,887 shows.
Friday collections stood at ₹37.10 crore before the film registered another ₹47.80 crore on Saturday. The resulting three-day domestic net total reached ₹144.60 crore, according to Sacnilk’s figures.
Saturday’s performance marked an improvement over Friday’s collection and brought the film closer to the ₹150 crore milestone.
Despite its strong performance, Jailer 2 has not matched the opening pace of Rajinikanth’s previous release, Coolie, which crossed ₹100 crore in domestic collections within its first two days. Nevertheless, the sequel has accumulated a substantial box-office total during its opening weekend.

The original Jailer introduced audiences to Muthuvel Pandian, played by Rajinikanth. A retired jailer, Pandian hopes to enjoy a peaceful life with his family after leaving the force. However, his life changes when his son, an honest police officer investigating an idol-smuggling network, goes missing and is presumed dead.
In Jailer 2, Pandian faces another dangerous situation when events from his past return to threaten him and his family. He must confront a powerful underworld network operating on a global scale while trying to protect his loved ones.
