Infinix is preparing to introduce its new gaming-focused smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro, in India on October 27. The upcoming device is designed for mobile gaming enthusiasts and features a high-refresh-rate display, a powerful processor and an advanced cooling system aimed at maintaining performance during extended gaming sessions.
The smartphone will be available exclusively through Flipkart in two colour options: Black Abyss and Red Blaze. According to NDTV Profit, the device also features dedicated physical gaming controls and specialised hardware designed to meet the needs of performance-oriented users.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Display and Performance
The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The screen also offers a touch reporting rate of up to 2,800Hz, along with a 330Hz touch sampling rate when using dedicated Game Mode settings.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 internal storage. This hardware combination is designed to deliver responsive gameplay, with support for frame rates of up to 144fps in compatible competitive gaming titles.
HydroFlow Liquid Cooling System
To manage heat during demanding gaming sessions, Infinix has equipped the GT 50 Pro with its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling System. The technology combines a 7,700-square-millimetre 3D vapour chamber, a micro-pump and two piezoelectric ceramic plates to circulate coolant and help regulate the device’s temperature.
The smartphone also features an Explicit Viewport Design on its rear panel, allowing users to see the internal cooling channels. This design highlights the device’s cooling hardware while supporting its gaming-focused approach.
Gaming Triggers and GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0
The Infinix GT 50 Pro includes pressure-sensitive physical shoulder triggers to improve control during gameplay. These triggers support 10 distinct pressure levels and four input modes, giving players different options for configuring their in-game controls.
Another key feature is the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory, which is included in the box. It supports 30W wireless bypass charging, a feature designed to minimise heat generation while the smartphone is connected to a power source during use.
With its 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, liquid cooling technology and dedicated gaming controls, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is set to expand the company’s gaming smartphone lineup in India when it launches on October 27.
