Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his admiration for Sai Pallavi ahead of their much-awaited collaboration in Ramayana: Part 1. In a special video message featured in the promotional material for the second season of the Telugu chat show Jayammu Nischayammu Ra, the actor praised Pallavi’s honesty, talent and suitability for the role of Sita.
Hosted by Jagapathi Babu, the show features Kapoor’s heartfelt message for his co-star, in which he shares his confidence in her portrayal of the iconic character. The actor also addressed Telugu-speaking audiences in their language, adding a personal touch to his message. Pallavi appeared delighted by his words and responded warmly, saying, “How sweet!”
Ranbir Kapoor Praises Sai Pallavi’s Portrayal of Sita
In the promotional video, Ranbir spoke directly to Sai Pallavi and highlighted the qualities he admires most about her as an actor.
“Sai, what I admire most about you is your honesty. Every co-star should be lucky enough to share the frame with someone like you. When it came to Sita, I honestly can’t imagine anyone else. People are going to see you in a whole new light, and I can’t wait for that,” he said.
His remarks reflect his confidence in Pallavi’s ability to bring depth and authenticity to the character of Sita. His decision to speak a few words in Telugu for the audience also added to the appeal of the video.
This is not the first time Ranbir has spoken highly of his co-star. In April 2026, during a special screening of the Ramayana teaser in Los Angeles, he recalled how quickly he and director Nitesh Tiwari agreed on Pallavi’s casting.
“The day I saw Sai Pallavi as Sita, Nitesh Sir and I instantly realised that there could be no one better suited for this role than her. Sai is an incredibly talented actress,” he said.
Ramayana: Part 2 and Global Release Plans
The film is planned as the first instalment of a two-part cinematic series, with Ramayana: Part 2 scheduled for release during Diwali 2027.
To reach audiences across different markets, the first instalment is set to release in Hindi and English, alongside dubbed versions in nearly 40 languages worldwide. These include Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi’s appearance on Jayammu Nischayammu Ra Season 2, featuring Ranbir Kapoor’s special message, is scheduled to premiere on Telugu ZEE5 on October 16, 2026.
