Indian Railways has announced special arrangements for devotees travelling to Vindhyachal during the Sharadiya Navratri festival. North Central Railway has announced that 22 express trains and 12 MEMU services will stop at Vindhyachal railway station to make travel more convenient for passengers visiting the famous Vindhyavasini Temple.
According to the railway zone’s announcement on X, several long-distance trains will also receive temporary halts during the Navratri fair. These include services operating on the Howrah–Jodhpur and Howrah–Bikaner routes, along with trains connecting Delhi and Patna.
The additional stoppages are intended to help devotees reach Vindhyachal more easily during the busy festive period.

Vindhyachal Train Stoppages From October 11 to 26
The special arrangements will remain in effect for 16 days, from October 11 to October 26. During this period, selected express and superfast trains will make brief stops at Vindhyachal railway station.
The temporary halts are expected to benefit passengers travelling from different parts of the country to attend the Navratri celebrations and visit the Vindhyavasini Temple.
Passengers planning their journeys during these dates should check the applicable train schedules, routes and stoppage timings before travelling. The temporary halt arrangements apply to selected services rather than every train passing through the station.
