Silver Price Today

The latest domestic spot figure available for September 22 puts 999-purity silver at ₹2,35,054 per kg. On the futures market, October silver contracts were around ₹2,39,455 per kg after declining 0.89% from the previous close.

The difference between spot, futures and retail jewellery prices is important. The amount paid by a customer at a jewellery store can be higher because of applicable taxes, making charges and other costs.

Why Are Gold Prices Moving?

Gold remained relatively volatile on September 22. Spot gold was slightly higher in early international trading, while the stronger US dollar and profit booking continued to influence the market. Jateen Trivedi of LKP Securities said weaker crude prices were providing some support, while limited major US economic data could leave gold trading within a range but with volatility.

According to the same market assessment, gold was expected to remain within a broad ₹1,51,000–₹1,56,000 range on MCX, although such estimates can change with market conditions.
