The investigation into the firing incident outside actor Tiger Shroff’s Mumbai residence has revealed that Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi was also allegedly on the radar of the suspected attackers. According to Mumbai Police Crime Branch officials, the accused were instructed to conduct reconnaissance near Hashmi’s residence but could not locate his house.

The shooting took place on October 18, 2026, and investigators suspect that the accused were linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The latest revelation suggests that the alleged plot may have involved several Bollywood celebrities before the attackers focused on Shroff.

Salman Khan and Aamir Khan Were Also on the Radar

According to information shared by Mumbai Police, the alleged shooters had previously surveyed the residences of Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. A police officer told, Salman Khan has long been a target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The accused also reportedly tried to locate Aamir Khan’s residence but were unsuccessful, as the actor had allegedly moved to South Mumbai.

Their next reported target was 47-year-old Emraan Hashmi. However, the suspects could not find his address despite making inquiries in the area.

Investigators believe the accused eventually turned their attention to 36-year-old Tiger Shroff after coming across his social media reels. They also reportedly learned about his Sunday football routine at Pushpa Narsee ground in Juhu.

Further investigation has revealed that Kunal Jaminsingh was allegedly in direct contact with Anil Pandit, a suspected Lawrence Bishnoi gang operative believed by investigators to be the mastermind behind the attack.

According to the police, Jaminsingh handed a pistol to Radha Verma on October 17. Verma and Babita Rao then allegedly delivered the weapon to Rehan Ansari, one of the suspected shooters, in Dadar.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to establish the roles of the accused and uncover the full extent of the alleged conspiracy. The reported reconnaissance of multiple Bollywood actors’ residences has also brought the question of celebrity security into focus.
