Emraan Hashmi narrowly escaped a potentially serious accident while filming his upcoming action-romance film, Gunmaaster G9, in Bengaluru. On October 13, 2026, a car flip stunt reportedly went wrong when an SUV suspended from a crane lost control, overturned in mid-air and crashed onto a black van parked below. The vehicle landed dangerously close to Hashmi, leaving the crew and onlookers shaken.
Emraan Hashmi Unhurt After Dangerous Stunt Mishap
Following the incident, concerns about Emraan Hashmi’s safety spread after a behind-the-scenes video began circulating on social media. Initial reports raised fears that the actor might have sustained serious injuries. However, sources close to the film’s production confirmed that Hashmi escaped the accident without any injuries.
The viral footage captures the SUV being lifted and rotating upside down before crashing onto the roof of the black van. The impact occurred just a foot away from where Hashmi was reportedly standing, highlighting the danger of the situation.
The filmmakers behind Gunmaaster G9 have not yet released an official statement explaining whether the incident was part of the planned action sequence or resulted from an unexpected technical error during filming.
Earlier Shooting Disruption in Haridwar
This is not the first challenge faced by the Gunmaaster G9 production team. In June 2026, filming in Haridwar was disrupted after some local residents objected to a signboard reading ‘Bar and Café’ that had been placed as a prop for a movie scene. Residents reportedly mistook the set decoration for an actual establishment, leading to confusion and public concerns.
Producer Deepak Mukut subsequently addressed the matter, explaining that the team used props only to film the required scenes and had no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings. He also stated that the production respected local systems and followed the applicable rules. According to Mukut, the issue was resolved after discussions with local residents.
