The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 has sparked a major social media debate after gaming content creator Kaashvi Hiranandani faced criticism for her comments about contestant Love Gill. Kaashvi, who is the girlfriend of fellow contestant Tanmay Singh, popularly known as ScoutOP, addressed the controversy through an Instagram Story on Monday, October 26, 2026.
The incident took place during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode aired on October 25, hosted by Rohit Shetty in place of Salman Khan. Kaashvi’s remarks about the growing closeness between ScoutOP and Love Gill, also known as Lovepreet Kaur Gill, drew criticism from viewers, with many questioning why Love was being held responsible for the situation.
Kaashvi Hiranandani Addresses the Love Gill Controversy
During the episode, Kaashvi confronted ScoutOP and Love Gill over their interactions inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. She questioned their equation and asked ScoutOP to maintain boundaries, telling him to “draw the line and cut her out.”
The discussion became more intense when temporary host Rohit Shetty raised concerns about ScoutOP giving massages to Love Gill. He pointed out that ScoutOP had been massaging her feet, hands, neck and calves, adding that such interactions did not look appropriate.
Kaashvi also expressed her displeasure when ScoutOP compared the care he received from Love Gill to the comfort of being at home. Reacting to his comments, she said, “Kya taking care? Agar ghar wali feeling chahiye thi aapko, toh ghar pe baithna tha. It makes me feel disgusted.”
Her statements quickly attracted criticism online. Several viewers accused her of unfairly targeting Love Gill while ScoutOP was also responsible for maintaining boundaries in his relationship. Amid the growing backlash, Love Gill reportedly received support from her team and several celebrities.
Kaashvi Apologises for Her Choice of Words
Following the criticism, Kaashvi, who is popularly known online as KaashPlays, shared a clarification on her Instagram Story on October 26. She explained that her primary intention had been to question ScoutOP’s behaviour rather than direct criticism towards another person.
“My intention was to address Scout, call out the mistakes I felt he had made, and hold him accountable for his actions,” she stated.
Kaashvi also acknowledged that some of her comments may have been insensitive towards others involved in the situation.
She further clarified that she had never intended to encourage hatred against another woman or motivate people to target her. Recognising the impact of her statements, she accepted that it was not her place to tell the other person what to do and apologised to those she had hurt.
Notably, several media reports observed that Kaashvi did not directly mention Love Gill by name in her clarification.
Love Gill and ScoutOP’s Bond Sparks Debate
Love Gill, a Punjabi actress and model, entered Bigg Boss 20 after winning the public vote in the show’s ‘Fans Ka Faisla’ segment against Rhiya Ahir. Since entering the house, her interactions with fellow contestants have attracted attention, particularly her growing closeness with ScoutOP.
The situation gained further attention after ScoutOP admitted to feeling possessive when Love Gill interacted with other contestants, including Gullu.
Both Love Gill and ScoutOP have described their relationship as platonic and have often compared their bond to that of siblings. However, their closeness and ScoutOP’s own remarks have continued to fuel discussions among viewers.
