In her statement, she wrote that the conversation was about giving each other enough time and space to understand their relationship and make sure they were ready for the commitment. She emphasised that neither of them was expecting a grand marriage proposal.
According to Rashmika, the decision was about being certain that they wanted to build a life together despite the highs and lows, happiness and challenges that come with life.
The actress also openly expressed her affection for Vijay, saying she was “OBSSESSED” with him and questioning why that should be considered a bad thing. She added that they had chosen each other and would continue to do so.
Concluding her statement, Rashmika said she was happier than ever, describing herself as happy, content and blessed. She also included a video in the final slide of her post showing Vijay playfully carrying her on his back.
