Oppo is preparing to introduce its Reno 17 series in China this month. Although the company has not announced an official launch date, pre-orders for the upcoming smartphones have already started. The lineup is expected to include the Oppo Reno 17 and Reno 17 Pro. The standard model is tipped to feature a Snapdragon chipset and an 8,000mAh-class battery, while the Pro variant could come with a MediaTek processor and a comparatively smaller battery.

The Oppo Reno 17 and Reno 17 Pro could feature different display sizes. The standard Reno 17 is expected to sport a 6.5-inch display, while the Pro model may come with a slightly smaller 6.3-inch screen.
Both smartphones are tipped to feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. However, the leak does not provide details about the primary and ultrawide camera sensors.

The Oppo Reno 17 series is expected to be available in three RAM and storage configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. These options are tipped to be offered across both smartphones.
In terms of colours, the upcoming lineup could arrive in five options: Snow White, Ice Moon White, Cocoa Brown, Starlight Pink and Encounter Cat. These names are translated from Chinese.
