The Samsung Galaxy A58 5G has reportedly surfaced on a Chinese certification platform, offering an early indication of its charging capabilities. The smartphone has already been mentioned in several leaks, with an earlier report suggesting that it could arrive in select global markets, including India, in 2027. The latest certification suggests that Samsung may retain the same wired charging speed offered by its predecessor, the Galaxy A57 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A58 5G Spotted on 3C Certification Website

An upcoming Samsung smartphone carrying the model number SM-A5860 has appeared on China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) database. The device is listed as a 5G digital mobile telephone and reportedly received certification on October 30, 2026.

Although the certification does not officially disclose the smartphone’s name, the model number is believed to belong to the rumoured Samsung Galaxy A58 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A58 5G Charging Details

According to the 3C certification, the unannounced smartphone supports charging inputs of 5V/2A, 9V/1.67A, 9V/2.77A, 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A. These specifications indicate that the device could support wired charging at up to 45W.

If these details are accurate, the Galaxy A58 5G will offer the same maximum charging speed as the Galaxy A57 5G. Launched in March, the predecessor also comes with 45W wired charging support.

Samsung’s Galaxy A57 5G supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology. The company claims that the feature can charge the phone’s battery from zero to 60 percent in approximately 30 minutes.

The certification listing also indicates that the Galaxy A58 5G could be sold without a charging adapter in the retail box. This would follow the same approach adopted for its predecessor, meaning customers may need to purchase a compatible charger separately.

Samsung Galaxy A58 5G Expected Specifications and Launch

The Galaxy A58 5G has previously appeared in reports suggesting a 2027 launch. According to an earlier tip, the smartphone’s primary upgrade over the Galaxy A57 5G could be a new chipset, with no major changes expected in other areas.

The upcoming device is also tipped to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. For selfies and video calls, Samsung may equip the smartphone with a 12-megapixel front camera.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy A58 5G or announced its launch timeline. Therefore, these specifications and features should be treated as leaks until the company makes an official announcement.
